Dental Implants are an excellent advancement in modern dentistry. In most situations they are the best replacement for missing or damaged teeth. With careful planning and treatment, dental implants can rebuild your smile with reliable, comfortable, long lasting tooth replacements.

Replacements that bite and chew just like real teeth, look and feel fresh and natural. Done well, they have an excellent long term success rate and can help support your other teeth. The reason for this is that the dental implant procedure prompts your jaw bone to grow on to the implant, fusing it securely in place.

In many cases, dental implant treatment is straightforward and carried out under local anaesthetic much the same as general dental work. Patients often comment that the procedure was much easier than they thought, that they experienced very little discomfort and that their new dental implant feels just like a real tooth.

Dental implants are often the best solution for tooth replacement, with an expected lifetime or service that outlasts dentures, crowns and bridges by decades, and makes them the best value for money in the long run. They don’t get tooth decay, and they don’t rely on the neighbouring teeth.

Your smile transformation journey:

Consultation & planning

Before we can recommend dental implants we must first establish if you are a suitable candidate for this treatment. Through a quick series of non-invasive oral scans we are able to create a 3D digital copy of your mouth and jaw bone. This enables us to measure the supporting structures in your mouth and allows us to evaluate your suitability for the procedure.

Surgery

Through minor key hole surgery requiring only local anaesthetic, the implant fixture (the root replacement part) is placed precisely into a carefully prepared, pre planned location in your jaw. Patients often comment that the procedure was much easier and more straight forward than they thought. There is usually very little discomfort after surgery.

Post surgery

Once the implant is placed, it is left to heal. Jaw bone grows onto the implant and the gums surrounding the implant mature, This natural healing process usually takes several months – it depends on your personal health and situation. This integration of the implant to the jaw is what makes dental implants by far the best solution.

Your new tooth

Once the implant is secured into the jaw bone we are able to make your new tooth. This process usually takes two short visits; on the first we take the necessary scans so the laboratory can create your perfectly fitted custom tooth using the latest in CAD CAM technology, on the second visit we will fit your new tooth!

Our planning process is thorough, our implants are of the highest quality and the treatments are gentle and minimally invasive.

Dental implants are positioned to look natural, work like a real tooth and are easy to maintain.
